Interbike 2013 – Falco V

Walking the halls of Interbike we kept hearing comments regarding a new bike that you just had to go take a look at. The bike was located way off the beaten path in a far corner of the hall, but was well worth the effort to go find it. We spent most of our last day on the lookout for the bike, but it wasn’t until the last 30 minutes of the show that we finally found it – but let us tell you, it was well worth the wait. Meet the Falco V!

No, beam bikes may not be new, but they are always are going to be noticed. Yet even in a crowd of similar bikes the Falco V would still stand out; between the extraordinary design, matte paint and attention to details this was a bike that screamed – Look at Me!

One of the most standout features of the V is the integrated water bottle that is completely blended into the frame. Under the bottle is the storage compartment for the Di2 battery.

The V will go for $4,000. Falco has a white paper detailing the aero benefits of the V on its website and is available here. Stay tuned for a more in-depth look at the white paper and our analysis of the data presented.
