When it comes to performance headwear for your noggin, the brand name Headsweats is typically one of the first names that comes to many athlete’s minds. Founded in 1998 by a cyclist determined to design headgear that worked, Headsweats offers more than 17 different products available in over 140 different colors and styles. Needless to say, if you’re looking for it, they probably have it.

We recently had the opportunity to spend some time with Headsweats’ women’s Tempo Visor. Similar to the regular women’s visor, the Tempo also features a fun design as well as reflective trim. And speaking of the design, Headsweats also provides a customizable option since you can add a logo to the visor’s front panel. As for price, the Tempo Visor will set you back $23.

The Tempo’s contoured design ensured that the visor fit snugly to our heads without too much pressure. And the elastic back strap was super comfortable as well.

In addition to the great fit, one of the things we loved about this visor was the fact that it was very easy to toss in the wash immediately after a run. When the wash is done, simply let it air dry and it’s ready for the next day. No fuss, no muss. What’s more, the visor has held up after plenty of washes.

We’ve spent quite a lot of time with the Tempo Visor this year. We’ve worn it on many training runs as well as a few races, including a marathon. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the fit and quality.
