Spring is definitely in the air here in South Florida. We aren’t sure what is climbing faster – the temperature or the humidity. The good news is that the warmer weather means the AG team has no excuse for not getting our training (testing) in!

Our apologies for the quiet week. The littlest AeroGeek turned two this week, and the whole team spent time helping him celebrate. But stay tuned as we get back into the swing of things this week, including cracking open the Mail Room’s door and checking out new products from Bontrager, Speedfil, ERG Fruit and Nut bars and more.

Readers Rides

For those visiting for the first time—welcome! One of our favorite ways to showcase our readers is our Readers’ Rides album on Facebook. This week we have this fully built up Fuji Norcom Straight from Simon. Simon went with Shimano 6700 derailleurs front and back, a Zipp Alumina base bar and Reynolds 66/81 Carbon Clinchers (and swaps to a Fast Forward disc for races).

Zackees Turn Signal Gloves

The Zackees Turn Signal Gloves are one of those products that just seem so obvious when you think about it, yet we have never seen anything like them before. The gloves feature a built-in indicator light that you can use to signal your intention to make a turn. Simply press your thumb and pointer finger together and the light turns on.  Release them, and it turns off.

The gloves feature an ambient light sensor, which boosts visibility during the day and extends battery life at night.

They’re also machine washable – simply remove the batteries, and you are good to go.

We can’t wait to try these, and the good news is that we don’t have to wait long—a set is already in the mail. Stay tuned for our thoughts on how these gloves stand up to weather and how easy they are to use with daily training.
