We are back! Our apologies for last week. We spent the week getting our butts kicked at Club Med Sandpiper Bay. Unfortunately, while the resort has a great training program, it has a pretty lousy Internet connection. So were not able to upload any of our articles for the week. Stay tuned for our thoughts on the Club Med Academy training program (plus all the tasty food) as well as the great articles we have ready for you this week!
For those visiting for the first time—welcome! One of our favorite ways to showcase our readers is our Readers’ Rides album on Facebook. You can check it out at http://on.fb.me/12jEqE3. If you would like to have your bike featured in our album just tweet us at @AeroGeeks, Facebook message us, or email us at info@AeroGeeks.com.
Tour of California Bike Footage
Back in 2011 GoPro mounted a number of cameras to the racers in the Tour of California (you can check them out – http://aerogeeks.com/2013/01/07/amazing-gopro-videos-from-the-2011-tour-of-california/). Unfortunately the UCI prevented this from happening again, until now! Shimano has put together a number of videos using their new CM-1000 Sport Camera. Check them out below – but be warned they are not for the faint of heart.

Profile Design TwentyFour Free Race Demo
By now we are sure you know that we are big fans of the Profile Design TwentyFour series of wheels. If not, check out both our First Ride and Final Thoughts articles. But like most things in this world, seeing is believing, and Profile Design is going to give their fans a chance to spend some quality time with the TwentyFours as well. Starting tomorrow (June 2) athletes racing Challenge Atlantic City will have the opportunity to RSVP for a free race day rental of TwentyFour series wheels. If you are going to be racing and are interested, RSVPs will go live on Monday, June 2nd at 12:00PM EST on the Profile Design Facebook page.
Mail Room
We love when a product we have been waiting on shows up on our doorsteps! This week we received a Flo Disc, and we cannot wait to get it mounted on one of our test bikes. We’ve had plenty of experience with Flo’s 60s and 30s and have been waiting for a while to get our hands on a Disc. Fans of Flo know that getting a disc is not the easiest thing in the world – it’s often the first of their wheel options to sell out on Pre-Order day. But Flo was finally able to set one aside for us, and we’re stoked to play with it. Stay tuned as we put it through the paces.
