Tracy is back, so we can start publishing stories again! As we mentioned on Facebook, Tracy was out of town this past week. And since she serves as both our multisport editor and copy editor, everything came crashing down. The reality is that both Devon and Mike are not what you would call grammar aficionados and count on Tracy to help them form coherent sentences. Fortunately she’s back, so rest assured you’ll find plenty of new reading this week.
The big news this week is what showed up in our mailroom – a Project One AeroGeeks Trek Speed Concept 7.9. We have been working with Trek for some time to get the bike delivered and finally got to unbox it this week. Needless to say, we’re at a loss for words. We’re officially in love. If it rides half as good as it looks, we are going to have a definite winner. Take a look below at what we created on the Project One website and how the finished product looks.

Mail Room:
As we stated earlier, the big news was the Trek Speed Concept 7.9. But that wasn’t the only new product to arrive in our mail room—we also received hydration products from Nuun and Osmo. We are already big fans of Nuun and are excited to try their Energy line. Osmo sent us their pre-hydration and active-hydration powders. Stay tuned to see how we like them.

- Nathan Sports AP Pro – Success! (Well, almost) We mounted up a computer to the AP Pro on Friday using the SpeedFil A2 computer mount—so far so good. Next up is to take it on the road and make sure it stays stable.
- Garmin 910xt – Stay tuned for our First Thoughts this week. Needless to say, we’re starting to understand why the 910xt is the gold standard for GPS watches.
- Enve SES Aero Bar – Devon got his first rides with the Enve bar this week. There is little doubt that the bar looks different from almost everything else on the market. Now it’s time to see how it rides.
- Marc Pro Device – For those unfamiliar with the Marc Pro, it uses electrical stimulation to help eliminate lactic acid during the recovery process. We have been using it for a few weeks and are starting to see a difference.
- SportRx Racing Jacket –Tracy has perfect vision (her optometrist last told her she didn’t need to come back for 5 years), unfortunately Mike and Devon are not so lucky. To that end, when SportRx got in touch with us regarding a pair of prescription frames, we were sold. But getting your prescription into a set of curved lenses is not the easiest trick. Stay tuned to see how they did.
- Vision Metron 81 – The 81s ended up on the P3 for a last few rides before we sent it back. We know we are only supposed to worry about performance and not looks – but the black and red Metrons perfectly complimented the P3 paint scheme. Let us know what you think.
