Ceepo Shadow-R – Quick Take

There are some products that even when we don’t have all the details we need to make sure you have get a chance to check them out. The 2019 Ceepo Shadow-R is one of those products. Being released this week at Eurobike this bike is already creating quite a stir.

The Shadow-R is built for triathletes and triathletes only. It doesn’t pretend to conform to any UCI rules (and that’s before you get a good look at the front “fork”).

There is an integrated bento box in the top tube. And underneath the bottom bracket is tool storage.

It’s not very often we get a bottom view of a bike

And then there is the fork. Lets start with what it isn’t – a fairing. The central beam as it is called is integral to the structure of the bike. And just happens to hide the front disc brake. What is interesting is even with some a revolutionary fork the Shadow-R can still accept most stems and bars on the market.

The Shadow-R also handles oval front chainrings up to 56 all the way down to compact size due to our twin position front derailleur hanger.
