A Happy Father’s Day to all of our Tri Dads out there (and lest we forget a belated happy Mother’s Day for all those Tri Moms as well)! We are hoping everyone got their workouts in before their big Father’s Day breakfasts – or at least plan to make them up at some time… We ourselves got our workouts in early and are heading to our favorite brewery to celebrate today – because carb loading and hydrating are very important keys to successful workouts.

Readers’ Rides

Sorry about the lack of Readers’ Rides the past few weeks. We actually have some gorgeous rides ready to share and just haven’t posted them. Expect that drought to end this week!

If this is your first time following AeroGeeks, one of our favorite things to do is share our readers’ bikes with the world. You can check out our entire collection at http://on.fb.me/12jEqE3. We didn’t have any submissions this week, but we have a basket of great AG gear and giveaways, so there’s a good chance one of the next few (continental U.S. based) submissions might end up getting some awesome stuff!

If you would like to have your bike featured in our album, just tweet us at @AeroGeeksFacebook message us, get us on Instagram, or email us at info@AeroGeeks.com. Don’t forget to also follow #agreadersrides on Instagram as well!

Every Man Jack

While spectating Ironman Texas in April we couldn’t help notice the Team Every Man Jack kits keep flying by. The kits were clearly one of the best-looking out there – black kits with just a hint of blue. When we dug a little deeper, we found a company with a founder who embraced triathlon, and a team of athletes over 50 people strong. So when we came across Every Man Jack body products in Whole Foods, we went out of our way to check it out.

We have been using the Signature Mint body wash, shampoo, face wash, and shave gel for a few weeks now. For days in the pool, the Sport 2-in-1 anti-chlorine shampoo and conditioner have been making an appearance. We’ve quickly become huge fans of this product. After showering with it, sweat, grime, and chlorine are completely gone. Before giving EMJ a try, we found the chlorine smell would linger no matter how much we’d scrub, but the combination of the Sport hair products and Signature Mint body wash seem to be doing the trick for us. We also love that the Face Wash doubles as a pre-shave lotion. Our skin feels awesome post shave.

We love seeing companies give back – and when we find that supporting them means buying a first-rate product, we are doubly excited. We’d recommend giving Every Man Jack products a try. Hopefully they work as well for you as they have for us!

CANYON//SRAM Racing Zwift Academy

After a successful launch in 2016, Zwift Academy is taking applicants for 2017! Launched at the Rapha Club House, London, the ground-breaking global talent ID program invites female cyclists to compete to win a UCI World Tour contract by riding Zwift. In 2016, the inaugural Zwift Academy saw 1200 registrants from 51 countries. Building on the success of last year’s program, Zwift and CANYON//SRAM are expecting to triple that number in 2017. The biggest change this year will be the introduction of eRacing to the Semi-Final stage in November.

“Introducing a racing component to the Zwift Academy provides the judges with another important evaluation component,” offered Eric Min, Zwift co-founder & CEO. “Zwift Academy eRacing will be an ideal testing ground for measuring and gauging new talent in an expansive, fair, effective and competitive environment.”

Riders interested in joining Zwift Academy can visit academy.zwift.com to find out more and sign up.

The Zwift Academy 2017 Schedule:

Registration: June 12 – September 1

Qualification: September 1 – October 13

Semi Finals: November 1 – 22

Finals: December
