It’s been a week, and we are still here! Thanks for all the love and support. We are really excited to be back and doing what we love!

This week we shared our thoughts on the Canyon Speedmax CF SLX, Knight Composites 95s, and Pearl Izumi Mach 5.  We also brought back our Readers’ Rides (make sure to check out the gallery below!).

New Flavors from GU and Roctane Energy Drink

This week GU announced three new Stroopwafel flavors and a new flavor of Roctane energy drink. Stay tuned for our reviews of both the original Stroopwafels and Roctane Energy Drink, but until then, we wanted to make sure you had the latest updates!

Adding to the original four flavors are Hot Chocolate, Coconut, and Gingerade. And the Coconut is gluten free, too!

And there is also now a Lemon Berry flavor of Roctane energy drink to go alongside the original Summit Tea, Grape, Tropical Fruit, and Lemon Lime.

Zipp Tangente Speed RT25 and RT28 road-tubeless tires

With the introduction of the tubeless-ready 303 last year, it really should come as no surprise that Zipp would create a matching tire to go with it. The new tubeless tires were modeled after Zipp’s wide road clincher tires, the Zipp Tangente Speed R28, Tangente Course R28, and Tangente Course R30. These tires feature low rolling resistance and high durability. The new tubeless Zipp Tangente Speed RT25 and RT28 feature the same tread pattern as these clincher models.

More about the Tangente Speed RT25 and Tangente Speed RT28:

  • Available in 25mm (RT25) and 28mm (RT28) widths to meet the preferences for wider tires among today’s road riders
  • 127 TPI nylon casing
  • Low rolling resistance, high cornering grip provide speed and stability in any situation
  • Ability to run lower tire pressures with reduced risk of pinch flats
  • Max tire pressure 115PSI for RT25 and 100PSI for RT28
  • No tire levers needed or recommended for installation
  • Polyamide puncture protection layer under tread
  • 60 ShA durometer rubber (Shore A)
  • Water-siping tread pattern

The RT 25 will be available in June and the RT28 in August. Now the real question is – where is the tubeless-ready 404, 808, and Super 9?
