2017 Holiday Gift Guide – Kit

Somedays looking good is all that matters (yes, even we care about fashion once in a while). The kit below will help you look good and just happens to help you go fast in the process.

Pearl Izumi Women’s P.R.O. Pursuit Aero Jacket – $97.50

The Pursuit Aero Jacket is a super-lightweight jacket perfect for when the temps start dropping. We have had the chance to ride with it as the temperatures finally started cooling off here in South Florida. The Pursuit Aero Jacket kept us toasty during our pre-sunrise rides, even during windy conditions. And once the sun came out and started heating things up, the jacket was easily stashed in a jersey pocket.

Orca Sleeved 226 Jersey – $99

The sleeved 226 jersey from Orca is meant to protect you from the sun, while providing a bit of speed in the process. It features Vapour Cool on the chest and side panels to promote fast wicking and cooling properties, and Stretchskin on the shoulders and arms offers outstanding muscle support and aerodynamics with its second-skin fit.

Scott Cadence Plus – $175

We have been riding with our Cadence Plus for the last month and are super impressed with its ability to transition from a super-comfortable road helmet to an aero weapon, all with the help of five aero plus. It’s a definite option for those looking for a single helmet for both training and race day.

Louis Garneau LGNeer Triathlon Suit – $284.98

One of our favorite tri suits out there, we chose to race in the LGNeer frequently this season. It survived a year of the pool and 140.6 miles in the sun and sand. It’s also already back on the road as we start training for next season. A clear winner in our books!

Giro Prolight Techlace – $400

201 grams is an awfully light shoe, and we think that’s something you’ll notice at mile 111 on the bike. It’s definitely not the cheapest option out there, but its ultra-light weight, super-stiff bottom and fantastic ventilation make it a great long-course shoe.
