A slow week on AeroGeeks.com but a busy week in the office with all the big reviews we have going on. On the site we finished our thoughts on the Zensah High Compression Shorts as well as reviewed the XLAB Stealth Pocket. While that was going on we got deep into the testing of the Air Attack and Aero HC. We are really looking forward to posting our thoughts in the coming weeks.
The Amgen Tour also kept our attention this week as well. Congrats to Tejay on the win! Make sure to check out the Links we Like for the coverage of the TT bikes ridden during Fridays individual time trial.

Reader Rides (aka Geek Rides)
@Claymulhollems ride is a truly unique ride, with the Dengfu frame, Shimano transmission, SRAM cassette, Vision Metron shifters, and Dash TT.9 saddle, we are sure it is truly one of a kind. Clay also introduced us to the Wedgie that we hope to be taking a deeper look into in the next few months. You can check out his ride – here.
Remember if you want to have your bike featured on our Reader Rides page you can tweet us at @AeroGeeks, Facebook message us, or email us at info@AeroGeeks.com.
Links we Like
Last week it was VeloNews’s coverage of the team time trial machines at the Giro. This week we have the individual time trial machines from the Amgen Tour of California – here. Take a chance to check out the Fuju Norcom Straights of the NetApp team, this is one of our new favorite frames on the market.
Current Reviews
1. Osymetric Chainrings
Last week Jessica asked us to make sure we covered sprinting and climbing as part of our tests. This past week we were able to get some sprints into the test plan, and by next week we should have climbing covered as well.
2. Vision Metron Crank
Riding with Devon this past week he reiterated just how much stiffer the Metron crank is over the stock Trimax cranks that come with the Felt DA4. Check out our review this week for our final thoughts.

3. Flo Cycling Flo 30s
Last week of riding is this week. The FLOs are getting handed off and our review is being polished.

4. Torhans Aero System
We are starting to see a little bit of leaking from the slotted, “refillable” cap over rough roads, but luckily the Torhans system comes with a second, “sealed” cap.

5. Giro Air Attack Shield
Another week of riding and while we don’t want to spoil the upcoming first look article, we can already say that the Air Attack has a great deal more ventilation than we were expecting.
6. Profile Design Aero HC System
After a full week we have two early thoughts, first that the leaking we have had in past BTA systems is a thing of the past, and second that we miss having a bite valve. Stay tuned for a first look article where we can get into some details.
